About HangarX

An applied AI lab.

HangarX is where we cook up new ways to apply AI — for our own ventures, for a small set of clients we work with closely, and for the founders we bring into the lab through our startup programs.

What we do

The HangarX platform — Cortex, Apex, Helix, Academy, and the Obsidian plugin — is a single operating stack: a knowledge engine, a strategy agent, a growth system, and the memory layer that connects them to the AI assistants people already use. We build it for ourselves first, then deploy it where it's a fit.

How the lab works

  • Build for ourselves first. Every new venture is a proving ground for the platform — if it doesn't hold up internally, it doesn't ship.
  • Deploy for select clients. We bring the same platform we run internally into a small number of client engagements — implementation, integration, and operating systems built to last.
  • Programs for startups. Early-stage founders join the lab through structured programs — platform access, applied AI guidance, and hands-on execution support.

Pedigree

HangarX is led by two product and design leaders with twenty years each spent building enterprise systems, AI/ML platforms, and intelligent tooling at the largest companies in the industry. Today, both lead UX for AI-native products on Google Cloud — one across AI/ML and analytics, the other across big-data streaming.

Before that, the work spans early cloud-based 3D rendering systems at Autodesk that shipped into Revit and Fusion 360, brand and marketing design at Apple, and design leadership at a social-intelligence platform for crypto investors. Multiple startup foundings, two exits, and a long string of AI-powered products shipped to enterprise customers like the NFL, NBC, Fox Sports, and Univision.

We work at the intersection of design, systems thinking, and velocity — turning what users want into what intelligent products can actually deliver. Based in the US, partnering globally.
